Another composite with some simple PS brushwork to soften the effect. used a blur on the clouds also.

Very believable composite with the back lighting.
I see red green banding in the clouds. I get that a lot with Topaz conversions.

Well done! I would never have known if you hadn't told us - it looks so natural soaring free up in the clouds! 

I see what Jerry means in the sky - it looks like there is a faint rainbow which adds a nice effect to the scene, so it could be 'Somewhere over the rainbow'.... Yeah, I'll shut up now.  :wink:  8)

Nice work Cynthia, hard to get rid of the banding when you compress an image so much. Love the pose of the bird and the ominous grey clouds.

Lovely composite Cindy, in spite of the faint color fringing. The dark clouds make a terrific background.
