Another composite with some simple PS brushwork to soften the effect. used a blur on the clouds also.

Very believable composite with the back lighting.
I see red green banding in the clouds. I get that a lot with Topaz conversions.

Well done! I would never have known if you hadn't told us - it looks so natural soaring free up in the clouds!

I see what Jerry means in the sky - it looks like there is a faint rainbow which adds a nice effect to the scene, so it could be 'Somewhere over the rainbow'.... Yeah, I'll shut up now.
