This photo began life as a window in Bodie State Park in the Eastern Sierra Nevada, CA.  Digital alterations included HDR, Magic Circle process in Photoshop, added a Twist, and finished processing in OnOne.  I really enjoy taking old photos and playing with them.  As we know, the excitement is in the journey, in this case beginning with a photo and seeing how far I can take it to create something I enjoy looking at.  Many times I never get there, but when I do it's magical, also time to move on to the next project.  Don't know if any of you will like it, I'd be curious to know.  Definitely abstract, but I love getting down to the basic elements of photography such as color, shape, and line.

Love it -- nice abstract! It's a bit like looking down the eye of a tornado -- well, at least what I imagine the eye of a tornado would look like. :D

Very nice. Looks like a top view of a vortex. Nice pulled into center effect.

This is an exciting adventure- so full of energy and vivid color- quite exceptional, and what fun you must have had with it! I agree- the process is so interesting and enjoyable when you go so far from the original.

This is so cool, I could look at it for a long time. Magic Circle...hmmm....that is a new one to me. Love the colours and the vortex. Well done.
