We have gone a couple of days above zero F., so I'm thinking of summer.
Here is a recently hand painted over old photo of a tiger swallowtail from my yard.

All seems to be in motion and very well done- a cheery photo-the swallowtail seems to be "looking" at you. Might blur out the greens slightly=pretty strong for a background, but I like the colors.

I'll give it a try.  The BG is my impression of zinnia leaves. The photo's BG had lots of flower colors in it.
