Dove on Green

Here's one from my back yard. I was searching some old files for flower pictures from my yard to paint and came across this mourning dove.
I simplified the photo and added a couple of textures. The only thing painted on this was a terminal bud on the twig on the lower left.

This is lovely Jerry-nice green. Since you're so good at this, I'm going to be super fussy and suggest getting rid of the faint dark line behind the head and under the neck on the left shoulder. Very subtle, and maybe fine as is. Like I said- a pretty picky critique. ;)

The feathers and their different colours all add to the painted appearance of this beauty! Excellent choice for the artistic treatment and the end result is lovely.

I assume you mean the black line around the edge of the bird. I removed it from the top half of the around the bird and softened some edges.
