My Mom turned 80 and I thought I would do a print of this rose. Full frame with accented edges and then through DAP realism style. It printed up just a touch darker on Radiant White WC Epson Paper as a 12 x 18 print. I was wondering if there were any suggestions for improvement before I give it to her:)

Just beautiful! My only thought - thinking about my own dear old mother and her failing eyesight (age related macular degeneration)- is will she be able to appreciate the delicate and subtle detail here? Only you can know that. 8)

Hi Jackie,

I would agree with Carol. If needed, a light accent edges might bring it out a little more. But Your Image ... Your Vision. Hope your mom enjoys whatever you give her.

Full of delicacy and light Jackie= beautiful! I do agree with the others about the visual aspects if there is any difficulty seeing detail. At your discretion.....
A fitting and lovely gift. :)

Hi

A lovely almost tissue like effect – subtle and lovely

For my tastes – I’d just fill the frame with the rose

All the best
Matthew
