Yeppers--I was out there during a hurricane and it is no joke. We were evacuated just in the nick of time before the full force of it hit. The stubbed Christmas trees were so bent over they actually were doubled over on themselves and disappeared under the surface of the water. They had to use drag lines to find them again. Just goes to show--a bad hurricane can spell some real big trouble for a platform or drilling rig. No amount of prep or caution is a sure safeguard against that and with these storms getting more powerful due to global warming.....
