I have to be honest about this one....I had never heard of them before....

I'm simply awestruck and memorized by this animal. Are there other mammals covered in scales too??

Sadly they also  are endangered due to poaching...

Boy if something goes wrong with our crops, say like some strange genetic disease or something, everyone will be out in the wild killing everything till it's all completely gone. Then will we start eating each other I suppose..

Guess you wouldn't get much out of petting one of these, but how interesting they look and easily so like some prehistoric animal from millions of years in the past.

Has anyone here ever posted pics of this species?

Armadillos also have what are called scales, but they do have teeth. Look up an interesting one called "Pink Fairy Armadillo" to see an interesting creature.

I thought about armadillos, but these pangolins REALLY have the scales!  I believe they are related however which would explain the likeness. I will look up the "Pink Fairy".

But seeing such a developed scaled surface to the pangolin"s body is really mind blowing.....
