Use caution when in Oregon and near logging clearcuts...herbicide spraying may hurt you.

The governments reaction to the complaints reminds me of something here in NM. There was a rural road with a slight curve in it. On at least two occasions, the homeowner at the outside edge of the curve had cars crash into his home and requested the the Highway Dept. install a guardrail on the curve. The engineer adamantly refused because the books stated that this curve was not severe enough to require a guardrail and no cars should be going off the road there!
Even though the herbicide used in Oregon sounds fairly safe, it doesn't break down quickly if the Ph is not right. It's another DuPont product. Maybe, judging from the severity of the illnesses in humans and the deaths of pets, its' safety needs to be reassessed. It is hard to get your voice heard when the people who should investigate complaints have their heads buried in the sand!
