This is the kind of thing people should be outraged about but the response here speaks volumes.

I just realized something today regarding this forum.

As soon as I viewed the links Roberta,  I became angry and went straight to the petition and signed it.  As the day passed, I periodically went back to this as my mind pondered the horror that these tigers were put through and I asked myself why someone would enjoy doing this.  Nothing should shock me anymore.

Then I realized…..I had not let you know that I had signed the petition.  Then I thought, "maybe there are many others who sign these petitions but do not give a response here".

Something to consider.  BTW, thanks for bringing this issue to the forum.

Thanks, Robert. Thanks for signing and for letting me know.
Apparently this thread has received 514 views. I am hoping everyone that viewed it signed the petition and just did not advertise that fact.

I just signed, it has been made a little difficult though, because only USA addresses are accepted (and you have to give a real US address to be able to submit), so I used a US address that's not mine......but i'm not sure if people that don't live in the states votes are wanted or not?......but it's done all the same, thanks for sharing (and caring)

The "Death Spectacle" has been a big draw for humans through the years, whether it be animals or people. Throwing Christians to the lions filled the Colosseum.

Disturbing for me is the proliferation of violence throughout our American Culture. More disturbing for me is how I can personally get into it, like when I watch a football game and somebody gets drilled I respond with the "get 'em" thing. I aspire to be a non violent peace loving hippie. Lots of things locked in the old dna code baggage I'd prefer not be there.

Wasn't long ago when a Safari to Africa meant showing up with high powered rifles and killing the critters we now photograph. We've come a long way, but have so so far to go.

Thanks for signing Steve. Not sure what the issue is with the US address requirement. I am Canadian and signed - though I am automatically registered with that petition site from long ago. Maybe they did not just want Americans then. Or sometimes for these things, I put in my real address but a US zip code.
