Here is another image of the cooperative short-eared owl from a week ago. A more interesting perch this time.

Beautiful image BOB. Lovely pose with eye contact, the perch is very interesting and fits nicely in this frame.
The background and the sweet light really makes this top notch.

Bob, this is absolutely stunning! I love the detail in the owl and perch, and the softness of the background.

You have posted some lovely images Bob, but this is one of your best without a doubt. What a beautiful shot. The old, gnarled branches are a perfect foil for this gorgeous owl, the detail is superb and the light enhances the whole scene. I love everything about it!

I love this one...Always dug brown shaded dominated images...there are like B&W but not.. Love that you have a lot of interest in the BG and you have what seldom is realized- a strong exit point in the upper left corner. And what a wonderful, beautiful,  animal..

Is it possible to do a more vertical composition using more not seen here branches. Making it more a environmental rendition...Just thought that might be another great presentation for this image..

I like mucho!!!
