This is a highly detailed portrait Vicky, however my first impression is that the color seems off. I think for it to be more accurate it needs to be "cooled" down quite a bit so that the head actually looks more red than orange. It would seem to be a rather easy fix to make this and outstanding portrait.
By the way, how did you get so close to this redhead anyway?

I agree with some of the comments made regarding color correction. A bit of a too tight a crop for me, especially above the head.

Vicki

The colour does look off and a little tight in the frame but a good detailed portrait.

I actually did not crop except on the sides.  I was hiding behind rocks and photographing a shorebird working its way towards me, when this guy started working the shoreline.  He was alone, and I am not sure if he was healthy, as he did not notice me whatsoever.  I do agree on the color, now that I look at it.  I will repost another one later, without the cropping and just a bit of sharpening...
