Wolf, I like the overall shot. But for me, the perch appears to be the main subject of the shot. An idea--if you could clone out the far left set of berries, and then move the frame in from the left and maybe take a little from the bottom, the bird would be larger in the frame and this would make the nice perch more of a compliment to the bird, instead of vice-versa?

Great composition and I like the setting. Bird is nicely isolated. The bird and berry bunches form a nice diagonal through the photo. Because of that, I might clone/crop out the center, bottom berries to make that diagonal even more strong. Great photo either way.

Wolf, I think both shots are excellent. It's interesting to see both shots side-by-side to compare. I think it boils down to your personal preference.

I like the original. RE the re post - I would make the far right berries disappear. To my eye they are too distracting being right on the frame's edge.
