Hi,
It's an image from a few years ago. Today, i would give a little more room around the bird!
Thanks for looking and suggestions,
Cheers,
Wolf

Beautiful bird and image. Agree with your self-evaluation, but still a top image.

Great exposure of the dark plumage (although a little dark on my screen) and I like the bit of color in the water.

Nice strong eye contact Wolf. The open bill adds a little more to the image as well.

Very nice picture and the room around the bird is not important. The exposure is perfect and the BG is nice.

Beauty. I have trouble photographing coots and getting the blacks right. And I love their blood red eyes. This one is great, Wolf!

Best,

Matt

Lovely shot...superb water color reflection..eye contact..yes some more space was required left side. And a bit lower angle would make the shot more interesting..But still it is a superb shot. Well done.
