Fun Image Of Chickadee Take Off

Shooting Black Capped Chickadees in my back yard this one took off at just the right moment.  7D2 with 100-400 II and 1.4 TC.  ISO 1600 F8 and 1/2500.  Comments most welcome.

Nice patience. I would have thought 1/2500 would have frozen the wings a bit better. As it is they are a bit too blurred, in my opinion - whatever that's worth.

It is obvious that you had not much light for higher shutter speed, Ed. Sharp where it counts, nicely done.
