I left the blue color in the background as it fits the bird.
The snow is blue in the shaded area, anyway.
However, I brightened up the background to fit the bright snowy foreground better.

Karl, Nice shot. I like the combination of the white snow and bluish background. Clicking on the image shows an even nicer image.

That is a really cool looking shot of a common bird (at least around Ohio) Karl! I like the combination of the white snow and blueish background as well with the bird.
