The last image I posted showed this female anhinga with its full size fish just after spearing it.  This one illustrates the fish being positioned for digestion  :).  Taken at the Viera Wetlands, Florida.

I like the story here. The two eyes near each other make for an interesting image and juxtaposition. For the fish, a "this can't be good" moment and for the anhinga, a satisfying meal about to be enjoyed. Well composed and nicely sharp too.

Nice capture. I like this one even better than your previous post. Good timing to get the fish all lined up for the swallow, but good eye contact with both predator and prey.
