Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas.

Nikon D7100, 300mm f2.8 lens, 1/500 sec at f/7.1, ISO 400.

The Black-crested Titmouse is a year-round resident of South Texas,   Their range is from the western portion of Texas south into the northern part of Mexico.  They live in wooded areas, and those who have photographed them, know that they never sit in one place very long.

Lovely pose and setting, Gene. The bird could use an other round of sharpening.
