These birds rarely come down in big numbers but this year according to some estimate there was a flock of up to 150 birds present in Algonquin

Wonderful background. Color and detail in the grosbeak is beautiful.
One bird I have yet to see.

Great feather detail here, Karl. And a great, soft BG. Only wish for a small up-tilt on the head, which I am sure you already recognize. But the feather detail and BG are so nice it almost doesn't matter - maybe it is a contemplative bird.
