Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas.

Nikon D810, 300mm f/2.8 lens, 1.4 TC, 1/2000 sec at f/5.6, ISO 800

Posted a photo of a Male Northern Cardinal last week on the same perch, but facing the opposite direction.  This photo was taken right as the Sun was setting.

I really like the wing -position and head turn. Nice exposure as well. TFS!
