SMALL PRATINCOLE;

EXIF – Shutter - 1/3200 seconds, F - 7.1, ISO – 640;
Canon 1D M4, Sigma 120 – 300 f2.8;

These Pratincoles were moving like butterflies on River Mahananda, near Siliguri, in the winter afternoon sunlight. I try my best to present another shot of the species.

PLEASE VIEW FULL SCREEN – a humble request...

Thanks for viewing & inputs. I appreciate criticisms.

Very nice that you've  got the wing tip touching the water though this particular image is not as sharp as your previous posts of this little fellow I must say. I took my hat off to you on some very nice flight shot of this species. (I have yet to see.)

Thank you very much for your inputs. Actually I presented this shot only for the dramatic intensity (if any) for the wings cutting through water surface but as you have rightly said, I missed subject details. Hope my next presentation of the species is up to the mark.

The bird is captured beautifully. I think it would be a stronger image if you took out most of the reflected bird.

Another nice photo. The smoothness of the water is remarkable.

Thank you very much for your input.
To speak the truth, the shot is a crop. I thought of that framing but I was losing contrast & clarity. That's why I kept it in a broader frame. I will try my heart & soul to get a similar shot again. Sorry for my late response.
Thanks again.
