Arizona -August 2015.. sun was pretty high up and these birds were tough to get a clean image of.. .  Nikon D800 500 ISO 200 1/800 F5.6.   Not the prettiest of perches or sharpness, but hey, for now I will take it and hope for better in the future

I had the same experience with these birds, but you did much better. Great capture, especially considering the species.
