Excellent BIF with the catch..lovely eye contact and details...seems to be a tight crop though..IMO
Let live properly and let them live properly...

I cropped it so that the sharp eye of the small fish was more visible

Richard, yes, it's a tight crop. But I agree with you that the tighter crop allowed the fish and eye to be seen better, which I believe made it a nicer shot.

I like the tighter comp. Shows the fish and the details better. Nice pose and eye contact and I like the water drops.
Wish for less shadows but nice none the less. Well done
