A tough bird to photograph around here, so I was happy to get some decent shots of them down in CA :)

Sweet.. dont think it gets better than this.. here in the East there is (not that I know of) any good places to shoot ducks, hence why I never took them on.

Excellent shot, Tim. We get them here in winter but not usually on calm water with a beautiful green and gold tone. Nice job.

The light and it's angle look to be perfect and is evident by the position of the catch light in the eye, dead center! The green water looks great as a backdrop for this beautiful mature drake. Very nice Tim.
