I tried out the 1.4x extender for the first time yesterday. I did not have great results as many shots were either missed or turned out to be soft (especially birds in flight shots).
Wish for a lower angle and maybe a bit more head alignment, but I liked this one because I noticed it had the mom, dad and child in it.
