Critically Endangered species. 
Probably today the worlds most threatened bird species. About 150 odd GIB's that are left in the wild are the last few standing, making them the most wanted ones, poachers for the meat, photographer's for the last picture and scientist for the last ring to know there whereabouts to protect their ranges.
Million dollar question to answer... will we save them?

2015 ~120

Unless we move few to African grasslands, I don't think so :(

Great pic of this unfortunately rare species. Both Whopping Crane and California Condor here in the US were brought back to stable levels form @20 birds. It takes tons of conservation effort, but it can be done......
