This juve is about half way to adult plumage, Canon 7D II + 100-400mm II @ 400mm, 1/2500 f6.3 ISO640, hand held.

I like the choice of subject here as I find Starlings are quite handsome this time of year. I also find them to be quite skittish outside of a public park, so kudos on a nice flight shot with good BG.

Not an easy shot to get, so great job getting this one. This looks fantastic and it looks sharp overall and exposure looks right on too.
I really like the wing position as it looks like it's really cooking and the bit of blur is perfect to show speed. Wish I had this in my portfolio.
