Just got back from a  few days in central Oregon. This is a species I only had a few distant shots of the male. So we were very stoked when this female came in to our setup for full frame images. :)  Unfortunately no males cooperated for us.

Beautiful portrait, nicely set up. Great detail and BG. The female has some mustache thing going on!

Lucky you to have such a beauty come in (we never saw one). Love the pose you caught too. I see a blue cast on the perch and the whites on the under tail. I think our monitors are well off from one another. I will need to check my calibration.
Thanks for looking,

Who needs a male when you get a stunning looking female showing up to your perch??? This is an absolutely beautiful image all around Tim! Congrats!

I would be stoked too. I never get these in eastern Oregon. Great perch, background and pose.

This female looks fantastic in your setup and I like the perfect pose and the killer details. The perch and the BG both make the image beautiful.
I was going to ask about the yellow on the belly but I looked this species up and saw the females and the striking males. Wow! I can imagine how much you must have wanted a beautiful male to land in this setup. Next time. Well done.
