Lovely shot Karl! Really nice light, BG and small perch. The pose makes it even better. I would suggest moving the bird a tad to the right to avoid making the bird centered. I also find the yellowish-green patch in the BG below the bird a bit distracting and would consider removing it if this was mine. But that's just me beeing picky on an amazing shot!

Nice shot Karl. I like the open beak and that nice distant green BG. Looks better with the extra sharpening as those conditions make for tough shooting. Well done
