Hi everyone, I have just returned from leading a 3 week tour in Brazil which I will be sharing a lot of images from.  I captured this Amazon Kingfisher zooming past at our first lodge in the Pantanal, Pousada Piuval.
Canon 5D3 500F4 1.4x 1/5000 F8, iso 800

Wow! That's a feat getting that speedster in the frame. Nice downstroke and eye contact!

Knowing how hard theese are to get in flight this shot is simply stunning! Great details in both the dark and bright feathers. Nice eye contact and wing position.
