Another flight shot showing the down-stoked wings. I still have goals with this bird which I may or may not achieve, hopefully at close range:
1. flying in and landing on the snag
2. diving into the grass for prey
3. flying with prey

Canon 7D2, 500mm F4L IS II, ISO 500, F 4, 1/2000 sec, manual exposure, hand held
