From the same Coachella Valley pool in April, a couple of Long-billed Dowitchers also appeared.  My lack of participation in this Forum the last couple of years has been the result of trying to learn deep sky astrophotography.  Hence, I am presenting this in paranomic format to show the "comet tail".

1DX,  600mm + 1.4x, ISO800.  Thanks for looking.

Great image K C. I love the composition you have created and the interesting bright blue wake in the water. Astrophotography seems to be getting popular recently. I have two fellow photographers who are now doing it from Mount Rainier

Kwan, wonderful choice of panoramic crop, fits perfectly with this scene, the plumage, beautiful reflection and waterdrop further add. Entertaining, hearing your tie-in explanation of this presentation with your current interest.

Interesting work resulting in a superb piece of Art. Awestruck by the reflection & the blue trail. Wonderful choice of frame too.
