Clean sandy beach and the G Level, gave this perspective of the bird walking in the clouds. No blur applied in the foreground or background.
 

Canon 7D, 500mmF4 + 1.4xTC, ISO 640, f6.3, shutter speed 1/200, Exposure bias -1/3.

I am generally not a fan of excessive blurring, especially when part of the subject gets lost in the blur. That being said, I like this image and your title of "walking in the clouds" fits it perfectly.
