Great shot Homer. Despite the obvious fish in its beak my eye goes straight to the birds eye as the focal point thanks to the slight head "tern" (sorry, I couldn't resist).

Nice shot. As others have said, great eye contact. Bird looks like it is suspended in air.

Agree with above. Can't help but notice the eye first. Do they have an eye ring?

I did checked my tiff file and cropped convert it to jpeg but the photo does not show so you can see the original image

This was the original cropped image from the tiff file,should I darken the eye ring?
