You have a good subject here and a good title....it is also well isolated...perhaps a bit soft. Try and avoid light areas in the background also.

Love the "demure" look on this Owl.
Agree with trying to avoid bright patches in the BG, which of course may not always be possible. I don't mind using the leaves in the upper left for framing but I would either use more and not clip them, or get rid of them all together.
