Mama bluebird is happy to see her mate bringing home the birdie bacon  for their chicks and lets him know it. Appreciation at its best.

Mike, very sweet story and uplifting pose to go with it, it reminds me of a balancing tightwire act and she's getting ready to take a big bow.

Good for her!  We all like to feel appreciated and she obviously knows how to make her mate feel special - it can only strengthen their bond.  A lovely behaviour illustration Mike.  :D

He does the same thing. We can learn from nature!

 I really enjoy photographing these and other birds when I also can see their behaviour and this is a warm one that makes me smile... Thanks Carol
