I see very few of these owls and have really struggled to capture a representative image of one for my files.  This was the second of two we flushed along the auto-tour route.  A good morning.  Thanks for any comments or suggestions, Dave

David, the details and stare of that owl are awesome! Great light and beautiful colour tones too. I think by cropping a bit off the bottom it would bring more attention to the owl and enhance the overall image IMO.
