Very nice image. The sharpening looks all right to my eyes.
However, the image would benefit from loosing about one inch from the top.

Great composition, BG and details. I'd love to see a Verdin sometime. The sharpening looks fine on my monitor.

Lovely presented image and sharpness looks good on my monitor, I agree with Karl's comments about cropping from the top.

The bird landed on just the right part of your perch James. Lovely image and the sharpening looks bang on. Arizona is a place that gets addictive for bird photography. I love it there in the winter.
Thanks for looking,

James

I am fine as it is. Nice flow of the perch and crop puts bird in perspective.

Looks good over here too but I think you can push the radius diameter up a bit. I use .3-.5 on most stuff at about 120-140% and they don't get to crunchy normally. Try sharpening after downsizing at .3 to .5 and see what you think. For you doing close set-up work, .2 radius might be fine as most of the images that you chose to process are probably pretty darn sharp to start with. Another beautiful set-up shot James.

Sharpening looks about right to me. Good perch and background as well. Nice light. Agree about the crop.

Beautiful light and composition!  It does look just a bit over sharpened to me.

James, this is such a sweet capture. I like everything about it, but agree that taking a bit off the top would enhance it
