This image was taken on Kodachrome 64 using a Nikon F3, triggered using a bell push attached to a length of bell wire. The scene las lit using two Metz CT45's set up on a nearby tree.It was the time when one had to wait at least three weeks to see the results. "The good old days"

Hi,
The image of the two owls was taken in Ireland where they are in decline due in part to lack of suitable nesting sites. I had observed this site for several months from a hide some distance away. It was a great privilege to be able to watch them without disturbing them.
That tree was blown down the following year, and they seem to have left the area

Nice nostalgic shot.....I encounter a barn owl many times in a pre-dawn walk.

We spend billions in space looking for alien life forms. They could already be here.
Wonderful, inspiring image.
Thank You
