I shot this image two summers ago when i had the fortune to travel to the U.K. Although most of the trip was spent as a birdwatcher excitedly ticking new birds, i did have a couple days for pure 100 percent photography on the Farne islands. I couldn't recommend a better spot to shoot seabirds. This is a wider shot including some of the flowery foreground around the burrows.

Michael, the scene is so beautiful and it makes this image very appealing to me. I appreciate when photographers see the whole picture :)

Gorgeous scenery Mike and you nailed this incoming Puffin, how fortunate to go to the Farne Islands and you got sunshine also.

Rob

Michael

Really good incoming shot. I was there in June for two mornings.....I would thoroughly recommend it. You had better weather than me.
I too like the layers on the ground...give a broader picture for sure
