Ahhh...embarrassing but I inadvertently posted an obvious female mt. bluebird as a juvenile pinyon jay and it was graciously pointed out to me.  This one is really a pinyon jay.  I may have to get new glasses!

I'm thinking this might be an adult Mountain Bluebird Dean. Pretty ratty feather wear with a broken tail feather would lead me away from a juvenile bird as well whatever species it is. Also a bit of a gray overcast to the entire photo but a nice pose looking back on the plus side.

No question the previous image was correctly identified by you.  How embarrassing!  It was erroneously added to the wrong file.  Thanks, Gary for pointing it out before the world saw it.
