White-headed Woodpecker

While on a birding trip last fall to central Oregon i was pleased to see my first White-headed woodpecker, but even happier to find out they were so cooperative for photos.

Not sure how you could ask for a better image of this species. The Pose, perch, Bg and details all look great and I replay like the exposure control on this giving nice details in both the darks and the lights. Very nice
