It does not get much better than this excellent image. Love the low profile and great eye contact on both.

Beautiful image all around. The interaction between the mother and the chick is so strong, specially due to the
string of the water droplets connecting them. Both look sharp with nice overall details.

Denis the moment you have captured is wonderful I have never said that I loved the shared saliva b/n anything... but I love this :) It tells a great story. Love the sharp details in the chick and front of the parent too.

Really nice image! Love the detail on the parent - amazing really. Congrats on such a wonderful shot.

IMHO (and I understand the symbolism) I would clone out the saliva if possible. But maybe I am too queazy!

Best,

Matt

This is a beautiful image. We have plenty of Coots in the winter but I have yet to see a baby chick. Very special.

Nice and sharp. Great detail, which was necessary for all of those scruffy chick feathers. Well done.

Salut Denis,

Très belle capture de cette mère avec son petit!

Bel angle de prise de vue et la couleu de l'eau ajoute à l'image.

Bravo pour le choix de l'éditeur!
