Barn owl hunting over North Norfolk fields, UK, 10am after a night's heavy rain.

A very nice capture. The Owl looks a bit wet also It is preferable on flight shots to have the wings fully up or down.....there is obviously a point where they are essentially not moving as they change direction. Your light may have been crappy but you really need to be shooting above 1/2500sec to get good flight shots.

Thanks for the advice Graeme. Really appreciated. I definitely could have used a higher ISO to get a better image I think. Something for next time...
