Things are very slow here in LA right now, so I am taking some time to revisit/reprocess/recrop some of my older shots. Right now I'm stuck in 2012. Here is one from that year that I particularly like.

Very striking image Dorian. I would be curious to know what, if any, adjustments you made to the original image to get this effect.

I love when a nature photographer thinks outside of the box! This is beautiful and thought provoking.

Thanks folks. I really didn't need to do anything fancy for this shot. Atmospheric pollution did all the coloring for me for me. Yes, I bumped the saturation a bit for effect, but otherwise its 'as shot'. I kept this frame with the wave crashing in the background since I like the juxtaposition between the power of the ocean and the dainty bird feeding along its edge. The bird was feeding very actively, and I had to manual focus since there was zero contrast on him. It was actually very challenging to get a frame with him in perfect focus.

I really like this one. Its one of the most unique bird images in a while! Beautiful colors, and perfect pose silhouette.
