Perch for Breakfast

I have spent about 21 consecutive days with this pair of loons, now a family. They have done this many years on this lake. They have been amazingly adoptive of me.

That is a nice moment captured and a rather large sized fish for the chick. You have worked hard for such an image.....it would be better of course without the other adult.

Hi Graeme. At first the chick was having some trouble with those perch but then I watched him/her eat three of them; I have no idea how it was possible. I left the other adult in this one simply because it's the way they do things when feeding the little one; it's a spinning bunch. I have other ones with less clutter but I like the family idea as well. Thanks for your compliment.
