Image GREATLY reduced to meet less than 250kB required posting size. 

Note: The bird was resting on the fence then  swooped down without warning to get a bug.  I was pleased the camera focussed so quickly.

Very nice flight shot with ideal wing position. Is that speed correct? the light must have been strong.

Mike, very well done getting this lovely hovering pose, the bird's color looks great contrasted against the green BG.

Thanks LynnS. I was pleased when it hovered long enough for the camera to grab a focus.  I was ready for action with the settings but the D800 can have focussing issues.....
