Eastern Screech Owl

These owls are generally difficult to find.  But this little guy picks open perches.  Taken with the 7D MK2, 70-200 2.8L + 1.4x III.  Gitzo, Live View, remote release. 
ISO 1000, 1/20, f4. 

I could have used a 400 5.6L or 500 f4 II to lessen the angle.  Thanks for looking.

Thanks everyone. This is a very cooperative owl and it will get up and move around all on its own during certain times of the day. It seems to be totally oblivious to people.  There can be 10 people standing nearby and it will not change its posture to make itself less visible (like some owls have been known to do).  I have yet to see a similarly behaved screech owl anywhere else (maybe one in Montreal but it was always in a cavity and not perched in the open like this fella)..
