When this large female suddenly appeared from the dense vegetation in the Arenal - some 10 feet away - there was nothing I could do with the 500mm attached but watch her in owe! I had never heard of this turkey-sized bird when she emerged & watching her rear-end it seemed she would just vanish into the forest again but not before giving me that 2 second look over her shoulder...
