I just love Arctic terns - they are both elegant and cocky at the same time. Not afraid of attacking much more larger animals coming near their nest site.
Here I have used slower shutter speed and over exposure to get a more graceful approach to the picture - a technique good to use with terns and gulls on an overcast day. Nikon D4, 600/4, 1.4xTC. Image cropped just a few millimeters from top and left. |
