Another one from my recent AZ workshop. Everyone was complaining about the numerous bees but this is one of my favorites!

Nikon D810 & 300mm f/2.8 + TC-14E
f/16 @ 1/250, ISO 400
4 flashes at 1/16 power, printed background, eye cleaned up to look more natural

I was there too and the uninvited bees were a constant challenge. You turned them into an advantage with three interesting subjects. Very nice image. I also appreciate the extra information you gave on the set up.

Yes bees can be a problem around hummingbird set-ups. Very nice image and I too appreciate all the details you give

Man, the bird is great but the bee makes this shot. Its like they're about to fight over the flower. What a great capture!

There are a bazillion hummingbird shots out there. Treasure this one. Great composition, detail and stop-action capture. Begs to be turned into a greeting card with the bee and bird talking to each other.
How close were the flashes?
Is 1/250 sync speed for the 810?
